Searsport resident Joe Plummer is collecting old Tonka trucks to give to children to restore for his Tonka Truck Restoration Project. Children with Tonka trucks in need of restoration may also join this project. Searsport Motor Company and Searsport Automotive and Tires are both donating their time and materials to hold repair workshops.
