Stolen checks land three in jail on theft charges
Three people were charged with stealing checks from a residence in Stockton Springs.
Deputy Merl Reed of Waldo County Sheriff's Office began investigating a complaint regarding the stolen checks Dec. 17. The victims in the case told Reed several checks were missing from their home, according to a news release from Chief Deputy Jason Trundy.
