A Lincolnville woman escaped serious injury April 13 when her late-model Saturn left the road and crashed into a tree. The crash occurred approximately 1:30 p.m., three miles north of Lincolnville Center on Route 52.
Lincolnville Police Chief Ron Young said it appears the driver, Robin Botley, 18, fell asleep at the wheel after working late the night before and through the day.
