Unity to borrow $1.5 million, or more, for roads

Residents of Unity addressed a 41-article warrant at the annual town meeting March 26. The very last article approved $1.5 million in funding for roads but the article will be revisited during a special town meeting at the end of this month. Voters authorized municipal officers to borrow up to $1,500,000 for the purpose of road repair and reconstruction as proposed in Article 41 of the town meeting warrant. ...
