A convicted rapist accused of having unlawful sexual contact with an 11-year-old girl was sentenced to one year in prison.
Glenn Reed, 68, of Searsmont was sentenced to eights years with all but one year suspended. He will also be on probation for three years. Reed was sentenced March 1 but he will not have to report to prison until April 1, according to court records.
