A dispute over a property line boiled over Jan. 2 when a Belfast man was arrested after he allegedly cut down a tree, which then fell onto power lines.
Since June 30, 2015, Belfast police have responded to a total of 23 complaints related to a boundary line disagreement on Patten Pit Road. In the past, Belfast Police Chief Mike McFadden said the disagreements have led to physical altercations.
