The city's Christmas tree arrived at Post Office Square Dec. 4. Dan Miller of Belfast Boatworks used a crane to lift the cut pine into a temporary cement block stand, festively painted by Isaac Wright.
This is the second year that the city has used a cut tree instead of the live pine outside City Hall, which was damage in a winter storm.
