Black ice caused two crashes on Route 137 in Belfast the evening of Dec. 1.
The first crash was reported at 8:26 p.m. when John Eastham of Brooks hit black ice on Route 137 (Waterville Road), sending his 2000 Toyota Tundra off the road and into a ditch.
