A Belfast man was taken to the hospital by ambulance after crashing his pickup truck into a house on Route 1 the afternoon of Oct. 23.
Shortly before 2 p.m, a Dodge Ram pickup truck driven by a 38-year old man crossed the center line of Route 1 while traveling north, Waldo County Sheriff's Deputy Cody Laite said. The vehicle then crashed into a house near Harriman Road that Laite said he believed was unoccupied.
