Police said speed and alcohol were to blame in a fatal crash on Route 52 in Lincolnville that killed a man and seriously injured a woman.
On March 31, Adam Knight, 31, of Lincolnville, was driving north on Route 52 at 7:20 p.m. in a 1997 Volkswagen when he crossed the center line into the path of 58-year-old Priscilla Jones, also of Lincolnville, who was driving south in a 2007 Kia.
