A barge owned by Neptune Maritime and built by Jonathan Fulford of Monroe and Pablo Brissette of Belfast was launched at City Landing Thursday, May 16. The barge will be used to move and set moorings, Fulford told The Republican Journal. Construction on the barge began in January and Fulford said some more work will be done before the vessel is put to work in about a week.
