A truck was destroyed by fire at Lincolnville Beach on Dec. 31.
At about 11:30 a.m., a fire began under the hood of a 1988 GMC that was being used to pick up leftover brush on the beach from a Christmas by the Sea bonfire, according to Lincolnville firefighter Mike Eugley. The truck is owned by Peter Green of Lincolnville.
