A two-car accident at the intersection of routes 1 and 141 in Belfast at around noon Friday, Oct. 31, totaled both cars and sent one passenger to the hospital.
Samantha Ladd of Belfast was driving a Subaru sedan north on Route 1, when a Dodge Nitro SUV driven by Steve Apetz, of Searsport, was turning onto Route 141.
