Firefighters from four towns converged on a stove fire in a residence on Lincolnville Road in Belmont the afternoon of Sept. 29.
Belmont Fire Chief Ron Harford II said the fire, which started at a home in the area of 446 Lincolnville Road, started after an electrical panel on a stove shorted out. By the time firefighters arrived on scene, Harford said the fire had burned itself out.
